Windsong Elementary School

Windsong Ranch, a 2,030-acre master-planned community in Prosper, is the proud home to the beautiful and recently completed Windsong Elementary.  In its first academic year, Windsong Elementary has already become known as a top-rated school inside the Prosper Independent School District and one that embodies the PISD mission statement:

The Mission of Prosper Independent School District is to develop and graduate motivated, academically prepared individuals with the strength of character to make contributions to a rapidly changing society through an educational system that maintains high expectations, provides quality instruction, and establishes a safe, orderly learning environment in the community that lives its name.

Prosper ISD is one of the highest ranked school districts in the state of Texas.  Windsong Ranch is slated to house two elementary schools, a middle school and high school within the community.

“We are thrilled to officially have Windsong Elementary on the map for Prosper families,” said Craig Martin, Founding Partner of Tellus Group, the developer of Windsong Ranch. “Providing children the opportunity to safely walk or bike to school has always been part of the master plan of Windsong Ranch.  The onsite elementary school will continue to enhance our sense of community. We look forward to establishing a long‐term partnership with Prosper ISD, as we work together to provide a first-class educational environment for all future schools,” said Martin.

“We appreciate our relationship with Windsong Ranch,” said Drew Watkins, Prosper ISD Superintendent.  “This will be the first of a number of Prosper ISD schools in the community.”
