Hollyhock, Frisco’s hidden gem offering residents unparalleled amenities in a 600 home master-planned community, invites the public to come out on Sat., April 21, 2018, from 12 – 4 p.m. to “Get Your Frisco On.” Featuring local restaurants, artisans and merchants, as well as a band and lawn games for the whole family to enjoy, visit Hollyhock for glimpse of the best Frisco has to offer! The event is free to attend, but guests must check in at Fields House, Hollyhock’s amenity center, to receive their food and drink tickets.
Delicious small bites from Frisco favorites Eight 11 Place, Crudo, Crush Taco, 3 Stacks, Frisco Desserts and Kolache Heaven will be served. There will be drinks from British Lion and The Green Gator for those 21 years of age and up. Attendees can get their groove on with the Royal Dukes Band as they play fun and lively cover tunes.
Frisco artisans and merchants will be taking over the community’s model homes to showcase and sell their goods including: Boxcar House; Brookielynn’s Bungalow; Sew Fun Studio; Sunny Paige; Texas Legends; and Tumbleweed TexStyles. Each merchant will have a prize drawing valued at $200-$500. Attendees can pick up their entry forms at each model home. (One entry per person, per vendor.)
Because this intimate community has a big heart, donations will be accepted for Frisco Family Services during the event. Anyone bringing a donation will receive one extra entry into the giveaway of their choice. The additional entry ticket will be given at Britton Homes model, which is the drop off location for donated items. Frisco Family Services is most in need of personal hygiene products and toiletries such as 4-packs of toilet tissue, boxes of facial tissue, toothpaste and toothbrushes, feminine hygiene products, shaving cream and shaving razors. Additionally, they need shelf-stable, boxed meals such as Macaroni and Cheese, Hamburger Helper, Helper Complete Meals, Banquet Homestyle Bakes and Chef Boyardee.
